BITCOIN'S KEY FEATURES

On-Chain Data Storage

Bitcoin SV (BSV) can be used as stable, decentralised data storage.

The BSV blockchain (BSV) can be used as stable, decentralised data storage.

The “new oil” of the digital economy is data, and its importance is only growing. Due to the proliferation of internet-connected smartphones and other gadgets, they may be amassed rapidly and in massive quantities.

Consequently, it stands to reason that data storage is of comparable significance, both from a technological and a regulatory or privacy perspective. BSV keeps a complete record of all transactions on-chain, including those that include text, code, data, or even more traditional media like pdfs and photos.

Additionally, and probably more importantly, the decentralised block size of BSV implies that ‘file-size heavy’ media such as films, audio files, and even databases can be uploaded on chain. Like a sophisticated Content Delivery Network (CDN), but with the added benefits of smart contracts (code) and encryption, this creates a compelling situation in which all data is accountable and secure while also being available for others to access and view.
